Elmer’s Big Art Parades

In 2019 Wild in Art will be turning the country patchwork by bringing Elmer’s Big Art Parades to Suffolk, Plymouth and Tyne and Wear.


Elmer’s Big Art Parades are brought to you by Wild in Art in partnership with Andersen Press in support of St Elizabeth Hospice, St Luke’s Hospice and St Oswald’s Hospice.


Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk – in support of St Elizabeth Hospice From June to September 2019, Ipswich is set to play host to an even bigger and better art trail than when the pigs went wild; this time featuring 50 individually designed elephants based on the much loved children’s character, Elmer the patchwork elephant. Elmer’s Big Parade Plymouth – in support of St Luke’s Hospice For 10 weeks in the summer of 2019 a parade of 40 fabulously colourful and unique elephants shall be taking you on a trail around the beautiful city of Plymouth and surrounding areas. Elmer’s Great North Parade – in support of St Oswald’s Children Hospice In 2016, our streets, parks and public spaces were taken over by a pack of Great North Snowdogs, attracting over 670,000 visitors and bringing £16.5m to the local economy.
