Huge success for Belfast

In 2022, Elmer’s Big Belfast Trail saw Elmer and over 70 of his uniquely decorated friends appear across Belfast to form the biggest-ever public art trail the city had ever seen.

Running for 10 weeks, Elmer popped up at key landmarks and locations across the city, from City Hall to Queen’s Quay, from Waterfront Hall to Titanic Quarter in a blaze of creativity.

The spectacular event raised over £131,000 for Northern Ireland Hospice at the sculpture auction. The money will help continue the charity’s vital care for local babies, children and adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
